The Frenchman has since then missed every of Chelsea’s ten games. According to L’Equipe, Kante will now miss the World Cup, which will be a huge loss for his country. When questioned about the situation involving his midfielder during a pre-match press conference, Graham Potter expressed some unhappiness, saying: “It’s a setback, it’s not good news. He’s due to see a consultant this weekend.” While speaking to Daily Mail, Potter said “He had a reaction during training. It’s obviously not ideal. It’s disappointing for him and for us.
