INEC Gives Updates On PVCs, Prosecution Of Offenders
The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has developed a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to be among the issues to be discussed and finalized at a retreat coming up in Lagos from 28 November to 2nd December 2022.
The commission disclosed this in a release on the Updates on Permanent Voters Cards, PVC, and Prosecution of Offenders, on Sunday, 27th December 2022.
According to the report signed by National Commissioner and Chairman Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye Esq, it is consistent with the end of the statutory period for the display of the register of voters for claims and objections.
It further reaffirms the commission’s commitment to ensure that the collection of PVC is made as seamless as possible.
