2023 Presidency: I Will Make Southeast Taiwan Of Africa If Elected –Tinubu

The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has reiterated his readiness to inject positive transformation of the country, when elected into office in the 2023 general election.

Tinubu restated his decision when he visited Ebonyi State over the week.

He acknowledged the entrepreneurial spirit of the South East while affirming how he has often continued to encourage Igbo businesses and investments in Lagos saying that he will even do more if he becomes president.

He further promised to encourage policies to aid commerce and support South East states to reach their full potential – removing hindrances to trade, improving economic access, and working with businessmen and women to make the South East the Taiwan of Africa with further investments in people, infrastructure, transportation, agriculture, and mineral resources.

“Today in Ebonyi, “the Salt of our Nation”, I reiterated my belief in the entrepreneurial spirit that is the hallmark of the South East. I have a record of encouraging Igbo businesses and investments in Lagos and will even do more if I become president.

“There can be no discrimination against any section of our country if we are to be a great nation. Most importantly, I intend to encourage policies to aid commerce and support South East states to reach their full potential – removing hindrances to trade, improving economic access, and working with our businessmen and women to make the South East the Taiwan of Africa with further investments in people, infrastructure, transportation, agriculture, and mineral resources.

“I also want to specially thank Governor Umahi and the good people of Ebonyi for the warm welcome, and the great job he has done in making Ebonyi State the jewel of the South East

“We must work together and #RenewHope for our dear country, Nigeria.
