PHOTOS: Relatives, Friends, Supporters of Hostages in Gaza Strip Embark on Million Match for Their Freedom

Thousands of people including the relatives, friends, and supporters of Israeli hostages held in the Gaza Strip since the October 7 attack by Hamas militants in southern Israel, hold the Israeli flag, placards, and images of those taken during a protest calling for their releaseee.

The protesters marched towards Jerusalem, on November 17, 2023, amid the ongoing battles between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas.

Israel has vowed to eradicate Hamas in retaliation for the attacks of October 7, which killed 1, 407 people, most of them civilians, according to Israeli officials.

Consequently, the Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza says the death toll from the military offensive has now topped 11,500, including thousands of children.
