Palpable Tensions in Edo as Mob Allegedly Beat Two Policemen to Death

Two policemen on escort duty have been beaten to death, and two others injured following a mob action at Ikpeshi in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of Edo State.

The incident occurred when a Toyota Hilux, part of a convoy escorting a former member of the Edo House of Assembly, Emmanuel Agbaje, collided with a motorcycle, claiming the lives of the rider, a woman, and her child.
