Forty Years Nigerian Clergyman, Odumeje Forecasts His Death, Says Earthly Ministry Over

Fiery Nigerian Clergyman and general overseer of The Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanemere, popularly known as Odumeje, has again triggered mixed reactions following the prediction of his death.

Odumeje disclosed this during a recent Sunday service, at Onitsha, Anambra State, when he told his church members that he will die soon, having completed his work on earth.

It would be recalled that the controversial prophet came into the limelight with his weird pattern of spiritual deliverance, where he carries miracle-seeking members of his church like the WWE wrestlers, and smashes them on the floor.

He was in the news last year when he was beaten up for confronting officials of the Anambra State Government, who had come to demolish his church.

Meanwhile, Odumeje was in a video of his Sunday service circulating online, heard telling his church members that it was time for him to go.

He said: “I have called my little son, King David, and I told him that very soon, I, your King David leave. You must take care of your brothers and your mother.

“I came to this world for a purpose, and that purpose has been fulfilled. I have finished my earthly ministry, and I will leave soon,” he told the congregation.

Odumeje has fought several battles and has challenged many native doctors to open contests on their ability to perform miracles.

He also allegedly wanted to prove his power to the world by walking on the River Niger, some years back.
