Chief Okwudili Ezenwankwo, The Political Iroko of Orumba And A Leader To Watch In Anambra

As the Orumba North and South Federal Constituency Election contest may have come to a logical end, the fact remains that Hon. Chief Okwudili Ezenwankwo (Ewepudike Na Nanka and Ikemba Orumba) is indisputably the political leader of Orumba, and also a leader to look up to in Anambra State.

The people of the Orumba North and South indeed renewed their unwavering faith in Ewepudike’s leadership as witnessed in their massive support in the 2023 general election and subsequent Re-run held on February, 3rd 2024.

For the records, Hon. Okwudili Ezenwankwo defeated the APGA’s candidate, Mr. Eric Eze, to whom, the governor deployed all his political appointees led by his Director Bureau of Public Procurement, Mr. Okey Ezeobi to persecute the election in a war-like manner. That APGA lost all the polling units at the election is a glowing testament to Hon. Chief Okwudili Ezenwankwo’s unfading capacity as the political Iroko of Orumba and a force to reckon with in Anambra State politics. Gov. Chukwuma Soludo by now should know who calls the shots in Orumba, with the abysmal performance of his candidate in the election, after spending hundreds of millions of Anambra people’s money.

Also, the incredible performance in the election in the Nanka community by Chief Okwudili Ezenwankwo has shown the world that Ewepudike is well-loved by his Kinsmen. The solidarity by the people of the Nanka Community to their illustrious son, Hon. Chief Okwudili Ezenwankwo is indeed unmatchable. No political leader in Anambra state or even in Nigeria has been so loved and admired by his community as Chief Okwudili Ezenwankwo is well loved by his people. Even the good book recorded that a prophet is without honor in his land. Chief Okwudili Ezenwankwo just broke this record.

Recall that Chief Hon. Okwudili Ezenwankwo left indelible legacies as a Member of the Federal House of Representatives in the 9th National Assembly. His bills and motions in the House were impactful just as his projects in all the communities in Orumba North and South Federal Constituency. Also, as the President Amalgamated Traders Association Anambra State Chapter, he performed credibly well which elevated him to a higher position as the President of the South East Traders Association.

Chief Okwudili Ezenwankwo is a devoted Christian. He has contributed immensely to spreading the gospel of God and building churches of different denominations. He is a Knight of St. Mulumba and Patron of the Onitsha Archdiocese of Catechists Association.
