BREAKING NEWS: Tinubu Inaugurates Steering Committee on National Single Window Project

Nigeria President, Bola Tinubu on Tuesday, 16th of April, 2024 inaugurated the National Single Mother Project to facilitate revenue generation in the country.

National Single Mother Project is a digital platform integrates various government agencies involved in trade processes, reducing paperwork, duplication of documents, and processing time.

In his words, “I am excited about this. I am coming to break it down.

“The National Single Window Project is a trade facilitation initiative that streamlines and simplifies import, export, and transit procedures by enabling traders to submit regulatory documents at a single location.

“This streamlined process encourages more businesses to engage in international trade, leading to economic growth and increased tax revenues for the government.

“By implementing the National Single Window Project, countries can enhance revenue generation through increased trade efficiency, reduced clearance times, lower transaction costs for businesses, improved compliance, and better monitoring of trade activities.

“This digital platform integrates various government agencies involved in trade processes, reducing paperwork, duplication of documents, and processing time.” President Tinubu said.
