Breaking: CBN Debunks Fake News Link With Tinubu, Gbadebo Others
The Central Bank of Nigeria CBN has described it as a canard, an information-making around media that the umpire institution is conniving against the President-elect, Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
The CBN reacted to the news published by the Nation Newspaper on Monday, 13th of March, 2023, alleging that the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Godwin Emefiele has launched a fresh plot against the president-elect.
According to the release, Mr. Emefiele stated that he had never met with the President-elect or had any business with him.
The release was further described as false, the allegation that Mr. Emefiele is working for the governorship candidate for Lagos State on Saturday, 18th of March poll, Mr. Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour.
