BREAKING: Bobrisky Receives Six-Month Jail Sentence Over Naira Abuse

The Federal High Court in Lagos has sentenced the well-known cross-dresser, Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, to a six-month prison term.

The sentence comes after charges were brought against him for mishandling the Nigerian currency, the naira.

Presiding Justice Abimbola Awogboro stated that the sentence is intended to act as a deterrent to prevent others from disrespecting and damaging the nation’s currency. The court has decided that there will be no option of a fine as an alternative to imprisonment.
