Zamfara bandit kingpin, Alhaji Auta bombed to death
Alhaji Auta, a notorious bandit operating in Birnin Magaji area of Zamfara State has been killed in an air strike by the Nigerian Air Force.
According to Daily Trust, many of his gang members were also killed during the operation around his camp located at Jama’are Bayan Dutchi, in Nasarawa Mailayi District of Zamfara on Saturday January 1, 2022.
Auta is said to be one of the four kidnap kingpins terrorising the area.
WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) had tasked the Nigerian Army to find notorious North-west banditry kingpin, Bello Turji dead or alive as his the main actor responsible for the recent killings in Sokoto state.
Turji is said to be leader of the bandit groups responsible for the attack which claimed the lives of 23 passengers in Sokoto state and other killings in the North-West region.
