SHOCKING: Robbers Break in, Raid Home Of Premier League Striker
Thieves broke into the home of a Newcastle United striker, Alexander Isak just months after his teammate’s property was targeted a mile away.
Reports from MetroUK indicate that the burglars gained entry into Isak’s £100m-rated, four-bedroom dwelling in Northumberland through the rear patio doors. This break-in happened approximately 48 hours prior to Newcastle United’s 1-0 victory over Fulham. As of now, law enforcement has not made any arrests. However, there is an ongoing investigation to determine if this incident is connected to the previous burglary at Joelinton’s home, another Newcastle striker.
This worrying pattern of robberies isn’t limited to Newcastle United players. Prominent figures such as Jack Grealish, Raheem Sterling, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have all fallen prey to so-called ‘away day gangs’. These professional thieves strategically target footballers’ homes while they are away for matches.
While it remains unclear if any personal belongings were stolen from Isak’s property, a car reported to be stolen from the premises was later discovered abandoned in Dissington, about three miles from the scene of the crime. A neighbor, speaking to The Sun, noted the presence of police at the property, indicating an ongoing investigation.
Northumbria Police have confirmed that their inquiries are still in progress and have appealed to the public for any information that might assist in the burglary case.
The financial and emotional toll on victims of such crimes can be immense. Jack Grealish’s home invasion saw the loss of watches and gems valued at around £1 million, while Raheem Sterling reportedly lost £300,000 worth of designer watches. In a particular incident, Victor Lindelof’s family had to seek refuge in a panic room during a burglary at their Manchester home.
