RIVERS STATE POLITICAL CRISIS: Asari Dokubo Warns, Reveals What’ll Happen If They Impeach Gov Fubara
The lingering feud ripping Rivers State apart has again attracted the attention of a former Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo.
Asari Dokubo has warned that if the Governor of Rivers State, Fubara gets impeached by the State’s House of Assembly, the aftermath would be against the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
Dokubo who expressed bitterness over the ongoing feud affirmed that Wike would never step his feet in Rivers again if Fubara is impeached.
Recall that 27 lawmakers elected under the umbrella of the People’s Democratic Party PDP on the weekend decamped to the APC. The development has triggered mixed reactions as Governor Fubara went ahead to present the 2024 Rivers State budget to five lawmakers on Wednesday.
According to Dokubo: “If they think they are going to impeach the Governor of Rivers State, Sim Fubara, it will be difficult for Wike to step foot in Rivers State. Try it and see what will Happen”
He maintains, that Fubara is his Ijaw Brother.
