Prison Officials Confirms Bobrisky’s Male Organ Intact, Treats Him as Regular Inmate
Controversial cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, is currently being treated as a male inmate in the Ikoyi Correctional Centre in Lagos, according to a senior official from the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS).
Despite previous claims by Bobrisky about undergoing a sex change, an examination conducted upon his admission into the facility confirmed that his male reproductive organs are intact.
Bobrisky was recently sentenced to a six-month imprisonment without the option of a fine by Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos. His charges stem from the mutilation of naira notes, as reported by SaharaReporters. This arrest was conducted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and was not related to his lifestyle choices or cross-dressing.
The official emphasized that Bobrisky is housed in a standard cell with other male inmates and follows the same routine and regulations as everyone else in the correctional facility. He participates in daily activities such as classes and meals without any special privileges.
Concerns regarding his safety and potential for abuse have been addressed by the NCS, which maintains strict policies against such behaviors. The official assured that any inmate found violating these policies, especially concerning acts of homosexuality which are illegal within the facility, would be prosecuted.
