PHOTOS: University of Benin SUG President, Nmoye Awards Five Years Scholarship To 100L Law Student

The social fora have been flooded with the news of the University of Benin Student Union Government President, Comr. Nmoye Israel popularly known as Cyano for demonstrating what many have described as a rare magnanimity.

The SUG President, Nmoye in the week pragmatically kicked off the fulfillment of his campaign promises to prioritize the affairs of the students in the institution by placing a 100 Level Student under the faculty of Law, Miss Shalom Odia in a full scholarship covering her five years law programme.

Miss Odia in a different portrait during the gesture was filled with the delight of such a benevolent leader.

Reacting, some of the students affirmed that the SUG President, Comrade Nmoye has from the outset of his declaration of interest in the leadership of the student body showcased determination and unique intellect to rejuvenate the pride and dignity of the SUG.

They, however, called on the President, Cyano to maintain the tempo and not to relent in the long run especially when issues of interest between the Management and the SUG begin to set in.

Meanwhile, some concerned citizens have described such a gesture as a paragon of good governance which the Nigerian Government and politicians must emulate for better leadership.

UNIBENPRIME reports that such act of kindness is the commencement of the fulfillment of his earlier campaign promises of putting the students first before any other.
