PDP Postpones Inauguration Of Anambra Guber Election Campaign Council

Though it did not give any reason for its decision, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has postponed the inauguration of its Anambra governorship national campaign council, scheduled earlier to hold on September 2, 2021.

Naija News reports that the National Organising Secretary of the party, Col. Austin Akobundu (rtd), made this known in a terse statement on Wednesday in Abuja.

Akobundu said that the inauguration ceremony of the Anambra election campaign council was planned as part of efforts to bring together notable Nigerians that can make immense contributions to PDP quest to reclaim the governance of the state.

The party official, however regretted any inconveniences the postponement might have caused stakeholders, party members, supporters and the general public.

Akobundu said that a new date for the inauguration would be Monday September 6th, 2021 by 3p.m., at the PDP National Secretariat, Abuja.

He said that the party leadership regretted any inconvenience the adjustment might have caused stakeholders, party members and supporters.
