May 29: Ex-Senate President, Saraki Sends Message To PDP Governors

Former President of the senate of Nigeria, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki has sent a congratulatory message to all governors elected under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for their anniversaries today.

Naija News reports that Saraki today Saturday, May 29 which was initially the official democracy day in Nigeria, celebrated the governors for their dedicated and exemplary years of serving their various states and the nation at large.

Taking to his verified Twitter page a few moments ago, the PDP chieftain wrote: “To my friends and brothers, the Governors on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (@OfficialPDPNig) who are celebrating their anniversaries today:

“Congratulations on your years of dedicated and exemplary service to the people of your state, and the nation!

“As you all continue to serve the citizens of our great country in your individual and collective capacities, it is my fervent hope that the impact of your policies and programs in your states will help to develop the lives and wellbeing of all our people.”

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to admit the failure of his administration during his May 29 nationwide speech.
In a statement by the spokesman of the Party, Kola Ologbondiyan, the PDP asked the federal government to stop exasperating Nigerians with his usual prepared text of false performance claims and empty promises.

According to the opposition party, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has no landmark achievement it initiated and completed for the benefit of Nigerians in the last six years.
