The nationwide protest against bad governance and hunger continued today across the country.
Naija News reports that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had on Sunday morning addressed Nigerians, urging them to suspend their strike, while reeling out the achievements of his administration.
This, however, did not stop protesters from storming the streets in Plateau, Lagos, and other states across the country.

A leader of the Bauchi North zone’s #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protests, Isah Zaki, has voiced strong dissatisfaction with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent nationwide address.
Zaki stated that the decision to potentially relax the protests in Bauchi North is due to disruptions caused by hoodlums, which have harmed local businesses.
#EndBadGovernance protesters have started converging at the Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park, Ojota in Lagos.
On Monday morning in Katsina, some protesters waived Russian flags, chatting in Hausa, “Hunger is killing us.”
According to DailyTrust, Policemen have started trailing them, firing teargas to disperse them.
Security operatives, on Monday, dispersed protesters in the Karu area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Naija News gathered that the protesters marching against bad governance in the country were just assembling when security agents went after them and arrested three.
One of the protesters who spoke with Punch, Yahaya Abdullahi, said the security agents fired teargas at them.
Protests resumes in Ojota Lagos State.
