Gov. Umahi Reveals Why Ndi Igbo Will Vote APC, Tinubu
Less than 12 days to the February 25 2023 general elections in Nigeria, the Governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi, has said that the Igbo will vote for the All Progressives Congress and its presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, because of the impressive performances of the party.
Umahi stated this while speaking at the APC South-East grand finale rally in Owerri on Tuesday.
Umahi, while noting that the South-East was grateful to the President for the construction said, “Igbo people will vote for the APC because of the Second Niger Bridge constructed by President Buhari’s administration.”
Similarly, the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, assured the party that his state would deliver for the APC in the February 25 presidential election.
Uzodimma said, “Imo people are grateful to Mr. President. We sought your support for building roads and fighting insecurity in Imo State and you approved (them). It is time to reciprocate that support by voting for the APC.”
Also, Governor Babajide Sanwu-Olu of Lagos State, said the Igbo people living in his state in the South-West were supporting Tinubu and were prepared to vote for him.
Tinubu, while speaking at the rally, further noted that, if elected, his administration would continue the developmental programs of the President. He also said he would add value to real estate and invest in education in the state.
Tinubu said, “The PDP stole Nigeria’s treasury. President Buhari’s eight years is a retooling process. The PDP are liars. We will continue with the developmental programs of the APC, it will not stop.
“Imo is the destination for tourism, we will add value to real estate in Imo State, invest in education, and build and reconstruct your roads in Imo. No more issues of ASUU strike. We will be prudent and manage revenue generation capacity, we will bring peace, we will work with the state to ensure security.”
