Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea Beat West Ham Thanks To Nicolas Jackson’s Brace
Coach Enzo Maresca became the second manager after Pep Guardiola to win the first three away games in a Premier League debut season after leading Chelsea to record a 3-0 win over West Ham United at London Stadium.
Nicolas Jackson gave a man-of-the-match performance to ensure that coach Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea maintain a three-game unbeaten run, which has catapulted them to the second place in the Premier League table pending the outcome of other matchday four fixtures.
Jackson made the game extremely difficult for the home side as he brilliantly scored the match opener as early as in the 4th minute.
Due to the early goal, Chelsea played with more confidence and earned Jackson the second goal of the match in the 18th minute.
The first half ended with two goals from the Senegalese forward after the Video Assistant Referee denied West Ham a penalty and canceled the home side’s goal due to an offside offense.
The second half started with Chelsea continuing with their attacking brand of football, and West Ham’s defense broke down again, and Cole Palmer took full advantage to make it 3-0 in the 47th minute.
After the goal, both coaches made a series of changes which didn’t reflect on the game as the match ended 3-0 in favor of coach Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea.
