Details Reveales How Helicopter Crash Claims Lives of Access Holdings CEO, Family Members

In a devastating incident, a helicopter carrying Herbert Wigwe, the CEO of Access Holdings, along with his family, met a tragic fate in California, United States.

The crash not only claimed the life of Wigwe but also that of his wife and two children. The family was traveling to Las Vegas to attend the highly anticipated Super Bowl 58, set to take place at the Allegiant Stadium on February 11, 2024.

The journey began from Lagos State, Nigeria, on Wednesday, with the family looking forward to witnessing the grand American football event. However, their aspirations were cut short on Friday night when their helicopter went down near Nipton, at the border of Nevada and California, in the vicinity of the Mojave Desert.

A top source also revealed on Saturday, that one Bimbo Ogunbanjo was also on the flight. Bimbo Ogunbanjo is the son of businessman, Chris Ogunbanjo.

This tragic event has cast a shadow over the Access Bank Lagos Marathon, held on Saturday, where Herbert Wigwe’s absence was noted. Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, also missed the event and was represented by his Deputy.
