The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), has begged Nigerians to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, in the February 25th general elections.
The president made the appeal on his official Twitter handle on Sunday.
Buhari said that for there to be a continuity of his regime’s achievements, Nigerians should endeavor to vote for Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, under the platform of the APC.
“I am not a contestant in the coming election, but my party,
@OfficialAPCN has a candidate in the person of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. I am calling on all of you to vote for @officialABAT. He is reliable, a true believer in Nigeria, and he will build on our achievements,” Mr. Buhari said.
Recall that Senator Tinubu, has at various campaign rallies, promised to build on the achievements of the Burahi regime.
Although President Buhari’s tenure has been characterized by a worrisome state of ups and downs, ranging from a gross violation of human rights, insecurity, and economic hardship, and massive debt estimated to be over N40 trillion, according to the Debt Management Office (DMO).
The President is calling on the Nigerians in the diaspora to support and vote for Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the continuity of the APC-led administration.
This is coming days before the February 25th, 2023 general elections in Nigeria.
