Breaking: Again, Goodluck Jonathan Receives a world-class Honour, this time in Uganda.

There is a saying that an iroko tree can never hide in a forest, and also the good that people do, now lives with them. This is the story of the immediate past president of Nigeria, His Excellency, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
After all the drama, tension and events that played out when he was gunning for his 2nd term bid as president of Nigeria and his eventual loss at the polls amidst all the obvious sabotages against him and his ambition in many forms. His over-the-top humble and peaceful decent from power and unimaginable humble acceptance of the outcome as clearly represented by and in his legendary post-election statement during which he conceded the loss at the poll, “my ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian citizen”, the world has crowned him the champion of peace and decorum, with awards and encomiums being heaped on him from every angle.
Thus, it came as no surprise when he was recently recognized and appointed as Chancellor of Cavendish University Uganda (CUU) by the school’s governing council.
The appointment is one of the numerous international recognitions given to the former Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan.
It’s worthy of note that Cavendish University Uganda which is a private University is one of the leading Universities in Uganda and among the top of the list in world ranking.
The university started operating in 2008. At the opening ceremony, the former Zambian President, Kenneth Kaunda (now recently late) was the Chancellor of the university.
Cavendish University Uganda is affiliated with Cavendish College London, Cavendish University Tanzania and Cavendish University Zambia. CUU held its first graduation ceremony in November 2011.
The university has different campus across the country including a campus in the capital city of Kampala.
This is another feather to the cap of the already well laden crown of the former president of Nigeria.
