APC Refutes Claims of National Chairman Ganduje’s Suspension

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially refuted the reports circulating about the suspension of Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the former Governor of Kano State and current National Chairman of the party.

This clarification came after allegations of bribery and corruption during his tenure were leveraged by the Kano State Government.

In a recent statement, Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of APC, characterized the suspension news as the work of impersonators posing as ward officials. These allegations initially surfaced from executive members of Ganduje Ward in the Dawakin-Tofa local government area, accusing Ganduje of misconduct and misuse of public funds during his time as governor.

Contrary to these reports, Morka emphasized that the supposed perpetrators are not recognized members of the APC but are linked to the New Nigeria People Party (NNPP). He criticized this as an orchestrated act of political victimization by the current Kano administration under Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf against Ganduje.

Reinforcing Ganduje’s position within the party, the authorized Executive Committee of Ganduje Ward has renounced the suspension, reaffirming his good standing as a legitimate member of the APC. In pursuit of justice, the party has petitioned the Inspector General of Police to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter and hold the instigators accountable.

The APC assures its members and the public that Ganduje remains the National Chairman and dismisses any reports of his suspension as baseless.
