Again; IPOB Issues A Strong Threat to Nigeria.

Indigenous People Of Biafra- IPOB has issued a strong threat to the government of Nigeria stating their determination to engage in different activities to ensure that their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, is released without delay.

In a statement signed by Mazi Chika Edoziem, the group bemoaned the alleged intention of the Nigerian government to subject Kanu to media trial and to convict him in public before giving the public conviction an official stamp, stating that self-determination is not a crime in the Nigerian constitution.

The group also demanded the immediate release of Nnamdi Kanu before August 8, 2021 and stated their intentions to commence weekly lockdown of their territory every Monday starting from August 9, until their leader is released.

They, however, issued a threat to the governors of their region and those involved in the rearrest of Kanu, saying that the region will not accommodate them.
