2023: Lagos APC Break Silence On Osinbajo’s ‘Transfer’ To Ogun

Osinbajo Never Recommended Increase In Fuel Price To ₦302 Per Litre - Spokesman

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday said Yemi Osinbajo never informed the party leadership before moving his membership to his home state.

Recall vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, reportedly dumped the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for his home state. The Vice President spokesman, Laolu Akande made the confirmation, announcing that Osinbajo moved his membership to Ogun State when he revalidated his APC membership status in Ward One, Ikenne, Ogun State on 9th February 2021. Reacting to the development, the Publicity Secretary of the Lagos APC, Hon. Seye Oladejo, told Daily Independent that they are not aware that Osinbajo moved his membership to Ogun state. He added that no official communication of Osinbajo’s movement has been made to the party in Lagos. “We are not aware but if they are claiming that he has moved his voting unit to Ikenne in Ogun state, so technically he has to be a member of the party in Ogun now. But no official communication from him was received by the party of his movement to Ogun state,” he said.
