UPDATES: IDF Takes Down Hamas Key Leader, Launches Further Airstrikes
Israeli Defense Forces have eliminated the Hamas leader, Hadi Ali Matzafa in Lebanon following consistent attacks and counterattacks in the week.
The news of the elimination of Hadi Ali Matzafa has sent another signal to the world about the dogged stance of the IDF and the Israeli government on no retreat, no surrender declaration.
It could be recalled that Isreal’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu had from the onset of the crisis, vowed to annihilate Hamas. This is a sequel to the multiplication of their adversaries including Hezbollah, and others who form alliances in their counterattacks.
In a related development, the initial report revealed that sporadic attacks and targeted countermeasures have been ongoing in Lebanon.
This is as an aircraft attacked a vehicle on the road between Tzur and Nakura.
