Unknown gunmen strike in Ozubulu, Anambra state.

The people of Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government of Anambra state, last night, witnessed a theater of bloodshed as gunmen suspected to be the dreaded Unknown Gunmen that has been warring against security operatives in the eastern part of the country, attacked the vigilante outfit of Ozubulu in the early hours of yesterday (sunday).

The gunmen who couldn’t find any policeman nor an army to main and slaughter as has been their pattern, took their war to the members of the community’s local vigilante group, leaving many of them dead.

According to report reaching De Erudite Media, the Vigilante group barricaded the road upon getting intelligence report about the movement of the unknown gunmen which resulted in the exchange of bullets between the two groups. By the time they were done five members of the vigilant group were reportedly dead. Two hilux vans were also alleged to have been burnt in the debacle.
