UCHE OKONKWO CALLS FOR PEACE IN NIGERIA AS CHRISTIANS CELEBRATE EASTER.

In a press release made available to the press and published by ThisDay-Live and observed by Ebube Agu Media, the House of Representatives aspirant who seeks to represent the good people of Idemili North/South Federal Constituency in the green chambers under the banner of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Hon. Uche Okonkwo (Ebube Agu) has reminded Christians across the nation to meditate and act on the true meaning of Easter, charging all and sundry to live in love and peace.

Okonkwo, who made this clarion call while addressing newsmen in Lagos, urged Christians across the country to imbibe the act of humanity just like Christ whose death is being celebrated on Easter did.

It’s so noteworthy to mention that he also reminded them that they shouldn’t let the current state of crime and insecurity weigh them down.

In his speech, Okonkwo was quoted as saying “Yes, Christ suffered and died. In spite of all these, he resurrected. Jesus preached love and peace in the world. That is what I want all Christians to do right now.”

According to correspondence gotten from ThisDay News,  Okonkwo explained that the resurrection of Christ is the victory Christians have, He went on to assure the nation that peace will reign again in Nigeria.

Ebube Agu Media gathered that Hon. Okonkwo appealed to all Nigerians and Christians, especially those in government to promote peace, unity, and harmony for a better nation.

Okonkwo wished the nation a wonderful Easter and a peaceful celebration.
