TERRIBLE! FATAL ACCIDENT IN ANAOCHA ANAMBRA STATE CLAIMS LIVES, FRSC ANAMBRA STATE REPORT
FIRST INFORMATION REPORT OF A FATAL TRAFFIC CRASH BY ST JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH AKWAEZE IN ANAOCHA LOCAL GOVERNMENT ANAMBRA STATE
A fatal traffic crash happened today 10th April, 2021 by St Joseph Catholic Church Akwaeze in Anaocha local government area of Anambra State, at about 12:35 hrs.
The crash happened between an unidentified driver of a Mercedes Benz 911 Truck with registration number KPP 273 XD and an unidentified rider of Kymco motorcycle with registration number AKL172QN.
Eyewitness report indicates that the crash was caused by Speeding and wrongful overtaking. The motorcycle rider while speeding and overtaking the truck was crushed by the truck driver.
Two male adults were involved in the crash, the male adult motorcycle rider was taken to St Joseph hospital by the FRSC rescue team from Igboukwu Command and was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty. His body has been deposited at the Morgue.

He warned motorcycle riders to avoid unnecessary speeding and overtaking that usually leads to a crash. They should always be on their safety helmet, as exposed road users, to protect them from head injury when a crash occurs.
