“If you say a mandate is stolen, the onus is on you to prove it, and not only proving it, you have to prove it beyond reasonable and possibly unreasonable doubt. The reality is that the President is installed and it is even more difficult now.” He said.
Peter Obi and the Vice Presidential candidate of LP, Datti Baba Ahmed, alongside the leaders of the Party, were in the court, to witness the proceedings.
The development, consequently, has triggered a lot of reactions from Nigerians in the diaspora.
Lai Mohammed had, in a press statement, accused Mr. Peter Obi and his vice, Sen. Baba Datti-Ahmed, of inciting the citizens to revolt against the announcement of Sen. Ahmed Bola Tinubu as the President-elect, which according to the Minister is a treasonable offense.
This was disclosed by the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed during engagements with journalists in Washington DC in the United States.
Dr. Datti-Baba Ahmed listed the names of the politicians who are begging for the support and votes of the people ahead of the governorship and House of Assembly polls.
