These arrests reflect the NDLEA’s ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and illicit substance abuse in Nigeria. The agency continues to work tirelessly to rid the country of drug-related crimes and their harmful effects on society.

Justice Ayokunle Faji granted the orders after listening to the submissions of the NDLEA’s counsel, Abu Ibrahim.
He was intercepted at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja by the narcotic agency following an intelligent inspection.
Justice Emeka Nwite gave the order following an application to the effect by Mr. Sunday Joseph, counsel for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.
The commander said that the major challenge before the agency in the state was convincing communities to expose peddlers of illicit drugs in their midst.
The Spokesperson for the NDLEA, Femi Babafemi, who disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, said they serve as the arrowheads of an international syndicate operating from Los Angeles, USA.
