See why Goodluck Jonathan earlier today visited President Buhari
President Mohammadu Buhari, earlier today May 28, 2021, welcomed the immediate past president of the country, President Goodluck Jonathan, in Aso rock Villa, Abuja.
Recall that President Buhari of the All Progressive Congress (APC) was whom usurped President Goodluck Jonathan of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in what was termed the most democratically conducted election in the historical annals of the country, in 2015.
Prior to the election, it was alleged the President Buhari made a lot of threat-laced comments which the most notorious of them was to make the government ungovernable for the Goodluck Jonathan’s government.
However, having conceded defeat after the election, Goodluck Jonathan was said to have congratulated Buhari through a phone call which earned him the admiration and respect of the democratically conscious People of the world.
In recent past, it has been a subject of rumour that Goodluck will eventually defect to APC. Could it be said that the events of today was a telltale that this rumor will turn a reality or was he (Goodluck) just displaying his gentlemanly?
