See what Nigerian security agencies said about secession.

Nigerian security agencies have vowed to synergize efforts to end insurrection in every part of the country.

The agencies, who according to information obtained through Daily trust, said secessionists would not be permitted to destabilize the country.

They also declared their determination to deal decisively with anyone who is hell-bent on undertaking actions that will threaten the cohesion of the country.

Recall that they have secession movements in the South-East and the South-West parts of the country. In an effort to alliviate them, the government announced, sometime last week, of the arrest of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra- IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who has spearheaded the secession movement in the South-East. His agents were also rounded up. In the same vain, the home of his counterpart in the South-West, Sunday Igboho, was also raided and his followers apprehended.

With this current development, insurrection is currently at low ebb in all these parts of the country.
