See the outcome of the Southern Governors meeting.
The southern governors, earlier today, 5th June 2021, gathered at the Lagos Government House, Alause, Lagos State, to cross-fertilize ideas for the development of the southern region of Nigeria.
In the meeting, the 17 governors from southern region jointly resolved that the south will produce the next president of the country in 2023.
The Governor of Info state, Arekunrun Akeredolu, who chairs the forum, reaffirmed the commitment of the forum to ensure a united Nigeria as long as the country maintains the principles of Justice, Equity and fairness.
The forum also appraised the political situation in the country and lauded the security agents for their unwavering efforts towards obliteration of insecurity in the country. They also commiserated with the family of the security agents who lost their lives in the line of duty.
