On this solemn yet celebratory day, April 19, 2024, Honorable Dozie Ferdinand Nwankwo joined other dignitaries and citizens at the state commendation ceremony held in Awka to honor the memory of the late Chief Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife, former Governor of Anambra State.
Chief Ezeife, fondly referred to as Okwadike Ndi Igbo, was celebrated not just for his political acumen but for his profound commitment to humanity. The late governor’s life was marked by his dedication to enhancing the lives of the people of Anambra State and his significant contributions to Nigeria.
During the ceremony, Hon. Nwankwo expressed deep condolences to the family of Chief Ezeife and to all the residents of Anambra State, recognizing the great loss they have suffered. He reminded those present that the day was not just about mourning but about celebrating the life and achievements of a revered leader and patriarch.
