Peter Obi Reacts As Oyo, Nnewi Supporters Goes Agog In ‘Obidient’ Rally

The presidential candidate of the Labour party, (LP) Peter Obi who is currently outside the country has appreciated the supporters in Oyo, Ogun and Nnewi who, despite the odds staged their planned one-million man march for him.

Naija News earlier reports that supporters, mostly youths defied the rain and marched in their numbers in the capital city of Oyo on Saturday morning.  Similar marches were also held in other cities such as Nnewi and Ogun state. Taking to his verified social media handles, the LP flagbearer, Peter Obi saluted the youths of the Obidient family, adding that the mission calls for resiliency. He wrote; ‘‘I salute the youths of the OBIdient Family. The mission at hand calls for resiliency”

Peter Obi Redefines Obidient Movement’

Meanwhile, Peter Obi has redefined the Obidient movement following the incessant backlash from opposition parties. Naija News reports that the former governor of Anambra state, Obi via the microblogging platform, Twitter on Saturday gave a new definition to the movement. “O – Organized B – broad-based I – Inclusive D – democratic I – international E – excellence-driven N – Nigerians from every ethnic group.
