PDP Crisis: We are acting on behalf of certain people – Wike

The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has disclosed that the five Peoples Democratic Party governors who are his allies are acting at the behest of certain persons within the party.

Wike said these persons are making the same demands as the governors.

The governor also noted that some people have been making attempts to break the bond between himself and the governors of Abia, Okezie Ikpeazu, Enugu, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Oyo, Seyi Makinde and Benue, Samuel Ortom.

He made the disclosure during the commissioning of the Osisioma flyover in Abia State on Monday.

Wike noted that those trying to break the ranks of the governors do not understand the ” modus operandi”.

According to him ” no relationship can be bought with money. That’s why when I read on the pages of newspapers, they said people are making attempts to break my ranks, I said they don’t understand the modus operandi of what we are doing.

“If they understand the modus operandi they will not waste their time.

“If you like go and meet Ikpeazu, if you like go and meet Seyi, Ortom, Ugwuanyi, you don’t even understand the modus operandi.

“These are not the people doing whatever they are doing. We are using ourselves as if we are the people, we are not the people. So you’re making a mistake”.
