Odimma Anambra Foundation (OAF) hails Southern Governors, commends them for their proactive actions.
A socioeconomic and humanitarian group known as Odimma Anambra Foundation, a popular humanitarian and sociopolitical group in Anambra has extolled the outcome of the maiden meeting of the newly formed Southern Governors Forum (SGF). The group lauded the resolutions issued by the SGF.
In line with the outcome of the meeting of southern governors, held in Asaba, Delta State, yesterday 11th May, 2021, Odimma Anambra foundation wishes to laud the southern governors for their courageous move towards prohibiting open grazing in the region.
It is seemingly inarguable that open grazing has been in the center stage of the farmers and herders clashes which have resulted in massive loss of lives.
We thereby advise the governors to take proactive measures towards ensuring that the ban is implemented.
We also advise that the borders of the region should be fortified to avoid the infiltration of criminal elements into the region, and that there’s a need to rise to the occasion of the palpable insecurity currently threatening the region.
