Nigerians Call For The Resignation Of A Top-Ranking Government Official.

Following the publishing of the names of the victims of 2020 Lekki massacre, Nigerians have continued to call for the resignation of the current minister of information, Lai Mohammed.

The irate citizen explained that in a saner clime, the information minister would have resigned following the publication.

They further explained that the minister denied that no one was killed in the night of October 20, 2021, in the Lekki tollgate despite the glaring evidence that a lot people lost their lives to the bullets from the Nigerian Army.

The citizens used their various social media handle to vent their disaffection on the position of the information minister on the issue, and called the president, Mohammadu Buhari, to display his integrity by giving the minister the matching order.

“Buhari should sack Lai Mohammed with immediate effect,” they wrote.

They expressed the opinion that the minister is not worthy of that position, having always display the tendency to conceal the truth.

“Lai Mohammed is not fit to be the minister of Information,” they added.
