NCDC said 604 new cases of COVID-19 take Nigeria’s total number to 38,948

Thursday 23rd July, 2020. Nigeria recorded 604 fresh COVID-19 new cases.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), which disclosed this on the social media; Twitter handle, said the new cases were recorded in twenty  states in Nigeria.

In addition of their statement said that 20 people died from disease resulting from the virus on Thursday.

As a result if, the number of COVID-19 increased from 813 to 833.

Futher, the total number of verified cases recorded to 38,948

Between the interval of the pandemic, 16,061 patients have been discharged from Nigeria’s different isolation centres across the states as at yesterday.

The NCDC said: “38,948 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria.

While the total number of death within this interval is 833.
