LP’s VP Candidate, Baba-Ahmed Bashes Tinubu, Atiku Over Age, Party Structures, Reveals Why They Run For 2023 Election

The issue of having a consolidated national structure by different political parties vying for the presidential seat in the 2023 general election has long become a cliche, following its dearth on arrival, when the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, and their Counterpart, People’s Democratic Party PDP, failed to convince the teaming supporters of the Labour Party LP, over party lack of structure to win vital political positions in the country.

Nonetheless, the APC and PDP are not in seamless integration with each other as the presidential flag bearers of both parties have always had a unilateral line towards the 2023 general election.

The Labour Party which from the outset of the Primary election in the country, appeared to be a regional-based political party has overwhelmingly surpassed the expectations of the opposition, with regard to the National political movement being championed by the supporters of Mr. Peter Obi and Baba-Ahmed Datti.

In a recent statement by the Labour Party’s running mate of Peter Obi, Baba-Ahmed Datti used the opportunity to present critical facts about the alleged structures of the APC and PDP as well as the capacity of Tinubu or Atiku to assuage the leadership loopholes in Nigeria.

According to the running mate of the LP presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, the APC, and the PDP only have structures to distribute money and not effect good governance to transform the lives of citizens.

“There is no such thing as structures; it is the conflagration of people interested in collecting the money they have kept. That money must be collected by somebody; you can’t leave them to get away with that money.

” Tinubu does not have enough days in his life to finish spending that money. Atiku does not have enough days in his life to spend all that money. So, they need to spend it on the 2023 elections. And people, if you have to spend, they will collect it.”
He further insisted that LP is “Well Structured” but won’t spend money it can’t account for, while stressing that the only two dominant parties have so-called structures without governance having “misruled” Nigeria collectively since 1999 when the country returned to democracy, signaling the beginning of the Fourth Republic.

“Only one party has the genuine structure and that is the Labour Party.” He said.
