Ifeanyi: Most Painful Experience In Life - Buhari's Aide Sends Message To Davido And Chioma

The Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on social media, Lauretta Onochie has sent a condolence message to Davido and Chioma over the loss of their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

Onochie in a statement on Tuesday morning, described the incident as the most painful experience of life and prayed to God to comfort the parents and the family members. Taking to her Twitter account, she noted that it’s a development she can’t claim to understand at all. The emotional message is part of the condolences that have been trooping in for the celebrities over the death of their son who reportedly drowned on Monday in the swimming pool at their Banana Island residence in Lagos. She wrote: “Dear @davido and Chioma, Losing a child is the most painful experience in life. Only God can beam his comforting light at the pains you & your families are enduring at this difficult time. “I can’t say I understand it all. But my thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.” It is understood that both Davido and Chioma were not in the house when the sad incident occurred. They are also yet to issue an official statement on the matter.

Police Begin Investigation

The Lagos State Police Command has disclosed the next step of action after the passing of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi Adeleke. The command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, who was quoted to have confirmed the death of Ifeanyi, said that all members of the singer’s domestic staff are currently in police custody. The Lagos PPRO said a preliminary investigation is currently ongoing to unravel what led to the boy’s death.
