I reject the increase of fuel pump price and electricity tariffs – Atiku
The former Vice President and candidate of 2019 Presidential election under the People Democratic Party PDP, Atiku Abubakar has expressed his displeasure over the Federal Government increase of fuel pump price and hike of electricity tariffs.
As Nigeria all over the world are calling on President Muhammadu Bahari to consider the collateral effects of COVID-19 pandemic in his policies formulation, The former Vice President through his official Facebook page as monitored by 9news Nigeria said he rejects the increment in its entirety.
Hear him:
“I reject the increased fuel pump price and electricity tariffs. Coming out of the lockdown, Nigerians need a stimulus, not an impetuous disregard for the challenges they face. Many Nigerians have not earned an income for months, due to no fault of theirs. This increase is ill-timed and ill-advised”.
