Hundreds of Students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka were thrown into a happy mood following the official launch of Touch A Life Campaign, which entails distribution of food palliatives aimed at Touching the lives of Students and the needy by Amb Timothy Nwachukwu, The President, Youth Advocate For Peace Justice And Empowerment Network (YAPJEN) and the National President Ebonyi Ambassadors Movement (EBAM).

The Distribution of the palliatives which took place at the Faculty of Law, Nnamdi Azikiwe University witnessed a large thronged of Students who expressed happiness over the kind Humanitarian gesture of the peace Ambassador.

Touch A Life Campaign is aimed at reaching out to the society especially needy students across tertiary Institutions and secondary schools, putting smiles on the face of Students who are facing difficulties due to the current economic realities in the country.

Touch A Life Campaign according to Peace Amb Timothy Nwachukwu is part of the efforts of YAPJEN/EBAM towards the achievement of the United Nations sustainable development goal 2 which seems to end hunger By 2030, end hunger and ensure access by all people, in particular the poor and people in vulnerable situations to safe, nutritious and sufficient food all year round.

Some of the students who benefitted from the palliatives distribution stated that their joy knew no bounds as the campaign came at a time that most of them needs it most, they prayed God to bless the donor while calling on the general public to always remember the needy.

Amb Timothy Nwachukwu, The President of YAPJEN further appealed to the general public and well meaning individuals in the society to Support the efforts of the NGO in reaching directly to young people who are in need.

He restated the commitment of the NGO to reach out to other students across other Institutions as they target to touch thousands of lives of Students.
