Hon. Nonso Orakwe and Family Bid Final Farewell To Late Mrs Veronica Orakwe At Aguluzigbo In Anaocha Council Area
The body of Late Late Mrs Veronica Orakwe have been laid to rest at Ifite village in Aguluzigbo, Anaocha Local council area of Anambra State.
Correspondent of De Erudite Communications, Jp Noskid, reports that the burial ceremony commenced with a holy mass which was conducted at her compound in Ifite Aguluzigbo, and was presided over by the Auxiliary Bishop of Awka Catholic Diocese, Most Reverend Jonas Okoye in the company of other clergy, including Parish Priest of St. Patrick Catholic Church Aguluzigbo, Very Rev.Fr (Dr.) Joseph Nwanna and Aguluzigbo Indegenous Priest, Rev. Fr. Valentine Uzozie.
Bishop Jonas-Benson Okoye during the mass, urged Christians not to deviate from the teachings of the church in other to remain in good terms with God.
He noted that the deceased lived a good Christian life, urging the children and other parishioners to emulate her.
On his part, one of the sons of the late Mrs. Orakwe, Hon. Nonso Orakwe, expressed sadness over the demise of his mother, stating that losing a mother is one of the most painful things that could happen to anyone.
He further appreciated all that shared in their moment of grief with them, and prayed to God to bless them abundantly.
The Matriarch died at the age of Seventy two years.
In a vote of thanks, the second son of the deceased, Hon. Nonso Orakwe thanked all the clergy, individuals, Political Leaders and groups for
their efforts towards the success of the burial and assured his siblings that their mother died a fulfilled woman.
Interment, reading of tributes at the grave side, condolence visits
among others things featured during the event.
