Failure To Bring Nnadi Kanu to Court On The 21st Will Result To One Month Lockdown: IPOB Threatens.
The proscribed Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, has sent a note of warning to the federal government, stating that failure to haul their leader, Nnamdi Kanu, who has been in detention for months, over the court on October 21st, 2021, will result to the lockdown of their province for a month.
The group gave their warning through a memo signed the head of directorate of state, Mazi Chika Edoziem.
This came up in the wake of the rumors which suggests that the federal government will be reluctant to bring the detained leader to court in planned attempt to elongate his stay in detention.
Recall that the group has been enforcing a regular sit-at-home every Monday in their province in solidarity for their detained leader.
Kanu is scheduled to appear to court on the 21st to continue his trial on charges bothering on sedition and all.
