EBONYI: Concerned Citizens Seek Help Over Correct Identity of Woman Intercepted With Little Boy By Vigilante Group
A woman who is about her early fifties has been intercepted with a little boy by a Vigilante group in Ebonyi Community following a complicated narrative of her identity.
The incident occurred yesterday at Ugalaba Okposi Umuoghara, Ezza North LGA of Ebonyi State.
According to reports, the said woman could not explain where she was from and where she was going with the little boy. Furthermore, the little boy cannot speak either to ascertain if the woman is his biological mother.
The woman, however, claimed that she adopted the baby at the University of Nigeria Nsukka. She equally claimed that she is from Obe in Nkanu West local government area of Enugu State.
Consequently, they were taken to the traditional ruler’s palace by Okposi vigilantes and the Ezeogo immediately contacted the Achiegu police Division and handed over the woman and the little child to them for onward investigation.
Concerned Citizens plead for vital information from the public to ascertain the identity of the little boy or the woman.
