Details of Nnamdi Kanu’s trial Reviewed.

Earlier today, the leader of the outlawed Indigenous People Of Biafra- IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu appeared before the Abia state High Court, Umuahia.

In suit no: HIH/ FR14/ 2021, Kanu requested that he be released from detention so he could attend to his health. In other relief sought exparte he: declared the invasion of his house by the military illegal, His arrest in Kenya Illegal, His detention in Kenya Illegal, His transfer out of Kenya Illegal, His detention in Abuja illegal, Restrain the Court in Abuja from continuing his trial, Compel Federal Government to tender an apology and award 5 Billion Naira in compensation.

Hon. Justice K. C. J Okereke after hearing the motion ordered that leave be granted to the applicant to serve the court processes in the suit, and also ordered that the applicant put all respondents on notice of the application.

The trial was rescheduled to continue on September 20, 2021.
