Notably, in November 2021, to mark his 29th birthday, he generously donated N250 million to 292 orphanages. This philanthropic spirit continued in July 2023, with a contribution of N237 million benefiting over 400 orphanages throughout Nigeria.

The latest announcement came through a heartfelt post on Davido’s official Instagram account, where he pledged N300 million to orphanages nationwide. The Afrobeat sensation has promised to release further details about the distribution process and the recipient institutions tomorrow.

“I and my foundation pledge the sum of 300 million Naira to orphanages around Nigeria … as my yearly contribution to the Nation ❤️ .. details of disbursement tomorrow,” Davido shared.
